The 2018 Conference will be held in Hilton Head, South Carolina on October 3-5, 2018.

The 12th Annual Regional Stormwater Conference was held in Louisville, Kentucky on October 11-13, 2017. This year’s event focused on Stormwater Solutions in Region 4 and provided attendees with a wide array of technologies and strategies to address challenges in stormwater management across the southeast.  Attendees were eligible for up to 15.75 continuing education credits.

Who Attended?

The Conference was designed for local, state and federal government administrators and regulators; developers and land use planners; civil / environmental engineers and landscape architects; environmental professionals and consultants; environmentalists and interested citizens.

Registration Discounts, Deadlines, and Refunds

The registration fee included all course materials, unlimited access to your choice of two concurrent session tracks, up to 15.75 continuing education credits, access to the exhibit hall, two breakfasts, three breaks, a reception and a lunch. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and checks are accepted. If you are paying by check, mail the check along with a copy of your invoice to SESWA at 719 East Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301.

Continuing Education

Attendees were eligible for credits on an hour per hour basis up to 15.75 hours of continuing education credits.  Professional Engineers, Certified Floodplain Managers and anyone requesting a certificate of attendance were eligible for credits on an hour-per-hour basis for the sessions attended. SESWA is an approved Professional Engineer provider for Alabama, Florida (#0004288), Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Hotel Information

The Conference was held at the Galt House Hotel in the heart of Louisville.  The address is 140 N. Fourth Street, Louisville, KY 40202.  SESWA contracted with the hotel to set aside sleeping rooms for all conference delegates. We do this to keep conference costs low and to make your planning as easy as possible.

Parking

SESWA guests staying at the conference hotel received discounted parking rates - $10/day (self-parking) $25/day (valet).  Parking rates for SESWA guests NOT staying at the conference hotel are -  $20/day (self) and $28/day (valet.)  Please note that your hotel confirmation may have the regular rates listed so be sure to tell a hotel representative that you are with SESWA to receive the discounted parking rates.

Transportation

The Galt House uses Xtreme Transportation for transportation services to and from the airport. The cost is $15 per person one way, or $25 per person for a round trip.  They request advance reservations, and you may make a reservation by calling the Galt House directly at 502-589-5200 extension 4022 or by emailing galthouseshuttle@xtremetransportation.com.
