Annual Conference 

This year marked the 21st Annual Regional Stormwater Conference, continuing the tradition of bringing together professionals dedicated to protecting and improving water quality across the Southeast.  We were excited to gather this year in Point Clear, AL, where attendees connected, collaborated, and shared innovative approaches to stormwater management.

Managing stormwater means balancing compliance, performance, and limited resources. This conference helped attendees do all three more effectively. Attendees gained direct access to technical experts, practical solutions they could apply right away, and a network of peers facing the same challenges. Plus, SESWA members attended at deeply discounted rates making it an easy, high-value investment in their program and professional growth.

Who Should Attend?
This Conference attracted more than 300 participants from across the Southeast, including local, state, and federal stormwater managers and regulators; developers and land-use planners; civil and environmental engineers; landscape architects; environmental professionals and consultants; and engaged community stakeholders committed to protecting water quality.

Fees: 

The attendee registration fee included all course materials, unlimited access to your choice of two concurrent educational tracks, opportunities to earn continuing education credits, access to the exhibit hall, and all meals (Thursday's offerings included breakfast, lunch, two breaks and a reception, while Friday included breakfast). Payment was accepted by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.) Attendees who wished to pay by check, selected the “invoice” option and mailed the check along with a copy of the invoice to SESWA, PO Box 16098, Tallahassee, FL 32317.

Single day registrations were not available. Advance registration was required; onsite registration was available. 

Discounts:
  -  Early Bird Rates: Attendees who registered on or before June 24, 2026, were eligible to receive the early-bird discount.
  -  SESWA Members: SESWA members received discounted registration rates.

Deadline: The deadline to register online was September 11, 2026, or when capacity was met – whichever occurred first. Onsite registration was available.

Refunds/Cancellations: Refunds (minus a $25 processing fee) were given for cancellations received in writing prior to September 11, 2026. After that date, SESWA had purchased materials and food on behalf of the attendee; therefore, refunds could not be provided.

Attendees were eligible to earn up to 10.25 continuing education credits on an hour per hour basis, including 2 credits for the optional Pre-Conference Workshop and up to 8.25 credits for the Conference. Session-specific credit information was provided in the Conference Agenda.

Certificates of attendance and continuing education documentation were available for the following designations:

• Professional Engineers (PEs): Credits were intended to support CPC/PDH requirements; acceptance was determined by the applicable state licensing board.*
• Certified Floodplain Managers (CFMs): Credits were intended to support CFM continuing education requirements; acceptance was determined by the certifying body.
• EnviroCert International approval was pending.
• Other attendees: Certificates of attendance were available upon request for personal continuing education records.

Because continuing education requirements varied by profession and jurisdiction, attendees were responsible for confirming acceptance of credit with their applicable licensing board or credentialing organization.

*SESWA was an approved Florida Continuing Education Provider (FBPE Provider #0004288) and previously held the North Carolina CPC Sponsor Approval from the NC Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (NCBELS) prior to North Carolina discontinuing its sponsor approval program.

The information below was provided for attendees who had already reserved a guestroom at the conference hotel.   Attendees who were still in need of a hotel room were asked to contact the hotel directly at 800-544-9933 and reference SESWA or visit  the SESWA Reservation Webpage through September 1, 2026.

For attendees who had already reserved their rooms in the SESWA room block:

• Room rates:  $209-$259 per night, depending on room type and availability at the time of booking
• Resort fee:  Waived for SESWA attendees
• Hotel check-in:  4:00 PM CST
• Hotel check-out:  11:00 AM CST

Parking:
Hotel self-parking was complimentary for SESWA attendees (the hotel website or confirmation may have stated differently).

Airports and Shuttle Information:
  -   Pensacola International Airport (PNS) 53 miles from the hotel
  -   Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) 34 miles from the hotel
  -   Round trip and one way shuttle services could have been arranged through the Hotel by calling 251-990-6370.

Fairhope Daily Shuttle: Attendees could enjoy a day in Downtown Fairhope without the hassle of looking for parking. Located 4 miles from the property, Fairhope offered local shopping and dining options for everyone in the group.  Transportation could be reserved by emailing the Grand Transportation team at [email protected]. The fee was $20 per person round trip. The shuttle departed at 11 am from the valet circle and returned at 3 pm with pick up and drop off at Fairhope Welcome Center. 

Attendee List:
The attendee list was made available one week prior to the conference to confirmed exhibitors and sponsors who requested access.  SESWA did not sell or provide attendee lists to outside companies or third parties.  Attendees were advised that companies offering to sell or provide attendee information were not affiliated with or authorized by SESWA.
