Seminar Participants Were Emailed a Dedicated Link Providing Access to Contact Lists and Presentations

The Seminar explored how your local, comprehensive stormwater programs can provide for a more resilient community. The Seminar discussed a variety of resiliency topics such as how communities are planning for and responding to community needs as well as how to establish prevention and recovery techniques. Case studies and lessons learned were shared from stormwater programs from around the Southeast.

Who Attended?
Local and state engineers and stormwater managers, directors of public works, policy-makers and regulators; civil and environmental engineers; landscape architects and consultants; and, environmentalists and interested citizens.

The registration fee included access to all Seminar materials, a morning coffee break, a boxed lunch, and an afternoon break. SESWA members received a discounted registration rate! There was also an early-bird discount for all registrations received before March 3, 2023.  Refunds were given (minus a $25 processing fee) for cancellations received in writing prior to April 7, 2023.  

Continuing Education
Professional Engineers attending this Seminar were eligible for up to 5.25 continuing education credits.  SESWA offers continuing education for Professional Engineers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.  Of these states, Florida and North Carolina require that continuing education providers be approved in advance.  SESWA is an approved provider for Florida (#0004288) and North Carolina.

Hotel
The Seminar was held at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North located at 7 Concourse Parkway NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30328.  A block of rooms was reserved at a rate of $162/night.  The deadline to receive the discounted room rate was April 4, 2023 or when the room block fills up, whichever occurs first.
