There will be elections to fill vacancies on the SESWA Board of Directors during the Annual Membership Meeting. Elections will begin Thursday evening of the Annual Conference, October 2, 2025 at 4:50 p.m. Eastern. This is your chance to get to know the future of the primary association dedicated to the stormwater management profession and water quality improvement programs in the Southeast!

Local Government/Associate Seats (At Least One Seat Open in Each State)

Two members from each state within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Association are selected by their peers (the other Local Government and Associate members from each individual state) at the Annual Meeting.  At least one such member shall be a representative from a Local Government member of the Association. Such members of the Board shall serve for overlapping terms of two years each. Only one member of the Board of Directors may be selected from each employing organization.

Private Sector Seats (At Least Two Seats Open)

Four Private Sector members selected by the other private sector members of the Association; however, no two Private Sector members may be employed by the same corporation or one of its subsidiaries. Such members of the Board shall serve for overlapping terms of two years each.
